COMMISSIONER JOB DESCRIPTION

 

The 3 member commission is appointed by the Hustisford Town Board and is responsible for complete management of the sanitary district including financial and operational functions.  You must be a resident of the district to be a member.

 

 

 

District 1 is located on the east side of Lake Sinissippi, north of County Road R to the north end of Lake Drive.  It also included Anthony Island.  This area consists of about 300 homes and has 7 lift stations.

 

 

Ø Schedule maintenance and service for the lift stations

 

 

 

Ø Order and maintain residential grinder pumps (approx. 70 in use)

 

 

 

Ø Various government  reporting as required

 

 

 

Ø Monthly commission meetings

 

 

 

Ø Oversee garbage and recycling pick up

 

 

 

Ø Respond quickly to resident concerns

 

 

 

You will receive a stipend for doing commission work and mileage.

 

 

 

No experience necessary – we will train you
